The Sheilings Boarding Kennels is a small, family run boarding kennels at the foot of the Mendip Hills - within 2 miles of Bristol Airport.

Pam Thompson has owned and run the kennels since 1984. A successful and established breeder of show quality gundogs, the kennels were initially a handy place for her to house her rapidly expanding pack of Weimaraners and Welsh Springer Spaniels.

Guests, of course, have always been warmly welcomed but despite struggling to house all the regulars in the busy summer months the temptation to expand has always been ignored. The desire to provide a personal service, and a place where valued pets can get individual attention when their owners are away, has always prevailed.
